Pamela Levy - The Birth Of An Artist
Feature-Length Documentary on the Israeli artist "Pamela Levy" - In Development
Pamela Levy was an American-born Israeli painter famous for her often violent, sexual and political themes. A pioneer in Israeli figurative art, and renowned as a feminist artist, her life was mired by financial ruin, clinical depression and severe alcoholism. She tragically died in 2004 from alcohol abuse and her body was discovered by her son, Yuval, who also happens to be my brother. Pamela Levy was my father's first wife, a figure I never personally got to meet, whose shadow follows my every footstep.
My film tells Pamela Levy's story in five chapters. What begins as a classic artist portrait, slowly transforms into an ever more personal family narrative, begging the question as to why Pamela was not only sidelined from the Israeli canon of art, but from my very own family’s consciousness.

The LandLady - Trailer
“Eilat Mami” is a psychedelic portrait of the southernmost city of the country – Eilat – “The israeli L.A” - a destination full of sun, sea and flashing lights. An experimental documentary, Eilat Mami explores the lines between culture and sub-culture, presence & belonging, questioning the Israeli desire to replicate the “American Dream”, underlining the dissonance between reality and fantasy.
